PRESS RELEASE: Para Bellum Labs a Mistake that Could Have Been Avoided
Washington, D.C. – Clarity Campaign Labs co-founder and partner David Radloff released the following statement following the announcement from the Republican National Committee that it is launching Para Bellum Labs to attempt to close the digital gap between itself and Democratic candidates and progressive organizations:
“On behalf of the progressive digital and data community and Americans as a whole – please stop. From the embarrassing launch of your website to repeated high-profile failures simply to build a national voter file, you keep coming up with one spectacular stumble after another. And now you are launching another new venture, promising it is the solution, but naming it after a notorious Nazi gun.
“Yes, we could be upset that the name of this new group is similar to our name, but what you continue to do is hurting us all. From fighting efforts to increase the minimum wage and trying to strip health care coverage by repealing the Affordable Care Act, to now making a mockery of the hard work of data analysts like ourselves, please stop.
“As an industry leader in the rapidly growing world of data analytics and consulting, with a team of campaign strategy, political data, and analytics experts, we would be more than happy to work with you to discover what our country really needs to keep the American Dream alive in the 21st century, and what you can do to help make that possible.
“We usually only work with Democratic campaigns, labor unions, charitable groups, and other progressive organizations and corporations, but just this once we would be willing to at least help you come up with a better name!”
