We've been busy here at Clarity Campaign Labs in the "off" year and I wanted to take a moment to update you on some exciting developments. At the beginning of the year we welcomed Sean Duncavage and Lee Hoffart, both were Senior Analysts at ISSI, to our growing team. They each bring extensive campaign analytic experience and are actively working on several new products which we'll be rolling out soon.
Also I wanted to let you know that we have a variety of national voter contact models available now. These scores were created and validated based on automated, live, and online polling data from the last month to reflect the very fluid nature of several of the issues:
- Likely Gun Owner
- Gun Control Support
- Choice Support
- Likely Fiscal Progressive
- Climate Change Priority
- Likely College Graduate
- Frequency of Church Attendance
- Source of News
- Source of TV (cable versus direct broadcast)
Primary and general election turnout models are available for 2013 and our initial 2014 national turnout score will be available next month. We are also working on 'v3' of the Clarity Democratic Party Score to take into account all the wealth of voter contact data that was generated in the last month of the campaign after the last version was rolled out. In the mean time we just validated v2 of the party model and it remains by far the best national indicator of partisanship available.
Stay tuned for additional analysis of our new national scores but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need more information in the meantime or if we can be of any help on other projects.
Thanks again for all the support,
