John Davis is a Senior Consultant at Clarity Campaigns, where he is responsible for providing hands-on, campaign-specific strategic and targeting services to clients. John brings over a decade of experience working with campaigns, public affairs firms and corporations, bridging how direct voter contact strategies and quantitative and qualitative data can be applied in harmony to their fullest extent. Prior to Clarity, he worked at Switchboard Communications where he shepherded two new products, Digital Advertising and Modeling/Analytics, into a traditional telephone communications firm while consulting on races and issues in over 35 states around the country. He has fond memories of his first experience in politics as a paid canvasser on Bill White’s 2005 Houston Mayoral Race. He later worked on the Obama presidential campaign in 2008, Deeds for Virginia in 2009, Teague for New Mexico in 2010, the DCCC and the Atlas Project’s Targeting Departments in 2011, and as Tim Kaine’s Targeting and Data Director on his 2012 Senate Race.
